Here We Come!

Our first entry should be an introduction of the band-

Louisiana Cookbook is a Blues based Rock Band from the Northern California Coast, Mendocino County. The band performs original tunes that always get the crowd movin’ and the times alive!

The band features guitarist Barry Marloff (Shapeshifters, Guardian and 7th Son) originally from the East Coast. Barry has helped to educate many fine musicians coast to coast with his work as a guitar and vocal coach. With influences like Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan and Jack Bruce it is no wonder that Barry excels in both his guitar playing and his song writing.

Jerad Bennet (Cleerframe, Broken Engine and Second Hand Smoke) is one of the most powerful vocalists around. His all around knowledge of music, from piano to guitar to singing, is an added bonus. Influenced by such groups as ACDC, Rage Against the Machine and Tool, the excitement and electricity of his vocal stylings max out the top end of the band.

Bassist Joe Pardini (Mistress & The Rodents, Caravan and Fat Chance) lays down a strong rhythm and bottom end. Joe’s melodic style, in the spirit of influences The Rolling Stones, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Bob Dylan, helps keep the driving rhythm section alive and kickin’!

Locking the whole thing in is drummer Tory Rugh (The Other Guys, TnA, Fat Chance and Second Hand Smoke). Drawing on influences Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn and more, Tory adds strength and dimension to Louisiana Cookbook. Solid timekeeping and a hard rockin’ edge completes the group’s energy and masterful sound.

All in all Louisiana Cookbook is a high-energy group that provides great floor filling, original dance tunes with a driving rhythm and superb musicianship.
